Land resources and real estate management department has been successfully held

In the afternoon of March 24, 2017, Daniel Abramson, University of Washington (Daniel Abramson) academic lecture, "the long-term social ecological resilience of Dujiangyan irrigated area and Its Enlightenment on land policy, village planning and community governance" (Long-term Social-Ecological Resilience in the Dujiangyan Irrigation District: Implications for) Land Policy, Settlement Planning, and Community Governance) was successfully held at the school of public administration 214. Professor Liu Runqiu of the school of public management, Sichuan University, chaired the lecture. The lecture was attended by Ma Aihui, associate professor of land resources and real estate management, graduate students of land resources management and undergraduate students at all levels.

Professor Liu Runqiu first gave the opening speech, and he warmly welcomed the arrival of Professor Ai Dan, and briefly introduced professor Ai Dan. Associate professor Aidan is a Bachelor of history in Harvard University, a master of architecture and urban planning in Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a doctoral candidate in urban planning in Tsinghua University. Since 2001, vice professor Aidan has been teaching at the University of Washington in Seattle. Now it is the associate professor of the Department of urban planning and design, the Department of architecture and the Department of landscape architecture. At the same time, as the first American doctorate in mainland China, vice professor Aidan has been engaged in cross-cultural planning practice and research in mainland China for a long time. The research includes the design of urban and rural residential environment, the protection of historical and cultural heritage, community planning, disaster mitigation and recovery, etc., which he presided or participated in. Including 1999-2004 years of Fujian Quanzhou historical and cultural city community participation in the planning, 2005-2009 years to participate in the creation of the International China City Planning Institute and the board of directors and secretary general, after the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, the Qiang historical and cultural villages after the earthquake recovery. After 2012, Professor Aidan became visiting professor of Sichuan University.

The theme of this lecture is "the long-term social ecological resilience of Dujiangyan irrigation area and Its Enlightenment to land policy, village planning and community governance". It has analyzed the ecological toughness of Dujiangyan irrigation area and its impact on the land reform and social governance in contemporary China. It has a great effect on the construction of the new countryside. Apocalypse. Vice professor Aidan first clarified the meaning of "Social-Ecological (Social Ecology)" and "Resilience" in this study, introduced the relevant theoretical background, and explained the research model - the social ecological resilience system. Then, vice professor Aidan, taking the Dujiangyan irrigated area with high agricultural productivity in PI Du District Zhigu village, an long village and Jiang An village as an example, showed the main planning concepts, and established the tenacity index system, compared the rural economy and its social ecological toughness under different planning concepts. Then, in the discussion of the link, the students and the associate professor Aidan exchanged the construction of the tenacity index system, the survey data and research methods, the measurement of the long-term development and short-term benefit of the region, and the associate professor Aidan invited the students to participate in his curriculum, "the ecological resilience planning of the society: the theory, the investigative party" Law and practice.

Finally, Professor Liu Runqiu summed up the lecture. The lecture of associate professor Aidan combines the multidisciplinary views of public administration, urban planning, ecology, history and so on. It has adopted a rigorous method of research and demonstration, and shows the advanced academic point of view in many angles.
